Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data this website collects, why, and what rights you have. It covers webika.net only. When we add the AI visibility checker or contact forms, we'll update this policy before they go live.

Who we are

Webika is a trading name of Nathan Grosvenor, a sole trader based in England and Wales ("Webika", "we", "us"). We're the controller of the personal data described here.

For anything about your data, email hello@webika.net.

When you visit the site

  • No cookies, analytics, advertising, or tracking. The site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. See our cookies page.
  • Technical data. Like any website, our hosting provider, Microsoft Azure, processes technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request. It's used to deliver the site and protect it from attacks, which is our legitimate interest. We keep these logs for 90 days.
  • The document cost calculator runs entirely in your browser. The numbers you enter aren't sent to us or stored anywhere.

When you book a call

Booking uses Cal.com: the "Book a call" button opens Cal.com's own site in a new tab. Cal.com collects your name, email address, and anything you add to the booking, and shares the booking with us. Cal.com is a separate company with its own privacy policy.

We use your booking details to arrange and hold the call, and to follow up on what we discussed. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before a possible contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries. We keep these details while we're in discussion with you, and for 2 years after our last contact.

When you email us

We keep your emails and our replies so we can answer you and keep a record of what was agreed. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries. We keep them for 2 years after our last contact, or longer if they're part of a contract.

Who we share data with

We share personal data only with the providers that run these services for us:

  • Microsoft (website hosting).
  • Cal.com (call bookings).
  • Purelymail (email).

We don't sell personal data, and we don't use it for advertising.

Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on safeguards UK law recognises, such as adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you can ask us to:

  • Give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct data that's wrong or incomplete.
  • Delete your data.
  • Restrict or object to how we use it.
  • Send your data to you or another organisation in a portable format.

Email hello@webika.net to make a request. We'll reply within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO): ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.

Changes to this policy

We'll update this page when what we collect changes, and show the date of the latest version here. Last updated: 19 October 2026.
